The Humraah Knit Button Down is dressed for that relationship: a shirt that moves easily through the day, that doesn't demand attention but earns it, that becomes more comfortable the longer you wear it.
The base is a lightweight summer-knit cotton in a cable-knit construction — the raised pattern of the knit giving the shirt a texture that plain jersey cannot produce. A hand-embroidered RASTAH logo sits at the chest, the needle work in contrast to the uniform knit structure beneath it. Three-dimensional metal button detailing marks the front placket — sculptural hardware on an otherwise understated piece.
Cable-knit on a button-down is an unusual construction choice: knit is typically used for pullovers and polo shirts, while button-downs usually run in woven fabrics. The crossover produces a garment that has the structure of a shirt and the texture of a knit — suitable for summer, cool and breathable, with enough visual interest to carry a look on its own. The 3D metal buttons turn the closure into a detail.
