The chaos skirt is a testament to Rastah's ability to experiment and innovate with traditional artisanal techniques whilst maintaining a modern design aesthetic. The garment is constructed from handwoven and had dyed cotton fabric which is then laser printed. Knife pleated detailing is added for and edgier appearance. The skirt has been laser printed and adorns scans of the human brain under extreme anxiety - other images include airport body scans and a dilated retina. The print explores ideas of identity crisis, mental health issues and the modern day youth culture.
