Bazm — the gathering. A bazm is not a crowd; it is a specific kind of assembly, the kind that forms around music, poetry, or conversation worth having. The Bazm Patchwork T-Shirt is designed for that environment: layered, expressive, built for a room full of people who notice things.
On a black jersey base, block-printed khaddar patches are arranged across the shirt body and joined using a zigzag stitch — a technique borrowed from ralli patchwork tradition, where the stitch itself is part of the visible design. A direct block print runs on the body beneath and around the patches, creating a ground pattern that the patches interrupt and extend. The chest carries a screen-printed RASTAH logo, clean against the layered surface.
The zigzag stitch is structural and decorative simultaneously — it holds the patches in place while creating a visible rhythm across the garment. Black jersey provides the foundation that makes both the block print and the khaddar patches legible. The combination of direct printing on the base fabric and applied printed patches produces a reading experience: you see the shirt differently depending on which element your eye finds first.
A bazm only works when everyone brings something. This shirt brings three things at once: the block print, the patches, and the stitch that holds them together.
