The philosophical concept of solipsism states that there is nothing that can be really recognized by any one person outside of their own selves.
The artist attempted to use the very concrete visuals of cracks and crevices inlaid in bricks as a metaphor for the human condition. It was based on identity and the self. The artist used altered states and party cultures as symptoms of the human crisis, and appropriate visuals to show the dissection of identity.
