The Baaghi jumpsuit, one of the most inventive pieces of the current collection, is inspired by the women daring to make change in the Pakistani status-quo, whose work reshapes and re-imagines femininity in the sub-continent today. Taking nods from sportswear and futurist movements, the jumpsuit is designed to be active, light, and disruptive. Pink and black, symbolically important colours, are hand-dyed to achieve a psychedelic tie-dye effect, atop handwoven, locally sourced slub khaddar fabric. The garment boasts asymmetric sleeves, a high waisted elastic band, and a sporty, centrally placed zipper, running all the way up till the ends of a winged collar. It is yet another continuation of the houses continued efforts in maintaining a long term relationship with its weaving partners in Kasur.
